Hi, I'm Grizette.

We are all deserving of being heard, valued, and living a fulfilling life. Yet, somewhere in history, in society, in our families, and within ourselves a different narrative may have been created -- a narrative that’s prevented us from recognizing our worth. As a therapist, I believe in healing as a community and I hope to work alongside you to address those experiences that have impacted your mental health. My personal upbringing, education at UC Berkeley and USC, along with my professional experience in community mental health have equipped me with the skills to address the impact of systemic, intergenerational and interpersonal traumas, depression, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation amongst other mental health challenges. I utilize a cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) approach to support you in practicing the skills needed to navigate the complexities of life. I applaud you for taking this step forward to care for yourself and hope that my therapeutic approach is a fit for you. 

Outside of being a therapist, I care for myself by spending time and connecting with family + friends, jogging, playing with my fur babies, reading, and resting. May you find and practice the things that bring you joy.
