Hi, I'm Alexx!

There are times in our lives in which we feel alone that no one could possibly understand what life is like for us.  As a therapist, I find it important to understand what your life experience has been and join you in your journey to making the changes you would like to see in yourself.  I provide a safe, respectful, and judgment-free space for clients to work through their conflicts and find the strength within themselves to make positive changes.

My goal is to offer the place to explore your current struggles in a way that helps you learn from your past, in order to find emotional balance and self-acceptance so that we can better understand your patterns to create the opportunities to learn and grow.

I graduated from Drake University, Iowa, with a Master of Science in Counseling, emphasis in mental health.  Prior to joining the Abundance Team, I practiced in residential settings working with high-risk youths with co-occurring mental health and substance use/abuse in the Midwest.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest (Washington), I am happy to be back on the West Coast.  I specialize in anxiety, depression, anger, PTSD and trauma, life transitions, family conflict and relationship issues, grief, stress and self-esteem, and substance use/abuse to name a few.  My client focus is children and adolescents including teenagers and young adults.

I believe in a holistic and strengths-based approach using evidenced-based practices, with emphasis on person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma informed care, to provide high-quality, personalized care for each client through one-on-one treatment.  I am also currently working on certification in Sandtray therapy.

I am passionate about walking alongside my clients as they seek growth, happiness, and balance in life.  If you are looking for support and guidance through a difficult situation or wanting to make some changes in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals!
