hold feasible goals you can achieve. You will receive my unconditional positive regard while we explore, process and unfold a better understanding of yourself. Through this journey, you will build your own “invisible tool belt” with coping skills and strategies to manage your daily mental and physical challenges. I truly believe in therapy and how it can be an immensely powerful tool for growth and change.

I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with an additional California credential in school counseling and child welfare & attendance. I have extensive experience working with diverse communities and school-age children to adolescents and young adult populations. For the past several years, I have refined a variety of therapeutic practices during my role as an outpatient clinician in a community-based mental health center. My clinical theoretical framework incorporates client-centered therapy, strength-based and family systems therapies
to work on the root of the problem. I derive interventions from evidenced-based practices in solution-focused brief therapy, CBT, play therapy, mindfulness-based methods, motivational interviewing strategies and psychodynamic approach. I am a
trauma-informed care provider and I take a holistic approach in my counseling methods which has brought transformational healing journeys to youth and families who've experienced grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, anger issues or maladaptive
behaviors at home or school setting.

I am a Los Angeles native, and I am bilingual in Spanish. I am also a part of the first-generation college graduate club. My interests outside the office are spending quality time with family, friends, going to live music or comedy shows and being out in nature.

My educational background includes a Masters degree in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelors degree in Women & Gender Studies obtained from California State University, Northridge.
