My therapeutic approach is empathetic understanding, sincere, caring, and genuineness without judgment, guilt, or blame. Creating a safe environment where individuals can feel comfortable to be themselves. My passion is helping people overcome trauma through building resiliency and empowerment.
Trauma can manifest psychologically and physiologically in different ways and hide behind the surface without the individual noticing it throughout their life. With compassion and empathy, it is possible to find the authentic self again, leaving behind anxiety, guilt, shame, and depression, while learning to create new meaning from the past.
Before joining Abundance, I worked in a school district, private practice, and residential dual diagnosis treatment and walked alongside clients toward wholeness and healing. I love working with all individuals, couples, and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), abuse, life transitions, grief and relationships, immigration journey/experience, attachment wounds, and somatic pain.
Also, I provided Christian therapy, sex Therapy, parenting, and women's issues. My modalities are CBT, ACT, DBT and Narrative Therapy, Gottman, and EFT. I have also completed training in EMDR and am working towards certification.
