Hello I am Diana. Welcome!
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I am an associate marriage and family therapist. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from CalState Northridge and Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I specialize working with children and adolescents who’ve experienced trauma and depression.
I enjoy working with this population because preventative intervention can aid children in overcoming their adversities at a young age in order to become healthy adults.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my sessions to address negative thought patterns, anxiety, depression and anger problems.
I am passionate about helping people overcome their hardships in life utilizing mindfulness, resiliency, inner child work, and play therapy. I think therapy is amazing! I believe anyone who is able to step into a therapeutic space shows strength and courage, and is taking responsibility over their life.
Before Abundance Therapy Center, I worked with children at school based and outpatient agencies. I have experience with PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, grief and behavioral issues.
