Hello! My name is Nicole!

Kudos to you for seeking treatment for your mental health! I know that finding a therapist can be an added stressor when seeking mental health care, so I hope to make that search a little easier for you by providing information about me!

I am an associate clinical social worker with nearly 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I got my Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2018. Before working at Abundance Therapy Center, I got my start in the field working in high crisis settings where I was providing mental health care to clients during the most challenging times of their lives. Some of these settings included residential facilities, hospital diversion programs, working within the juvenile justice system, psychiatric hospitals, inpatient substance abuse programs, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), Intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and Emergency rooms.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with many populations including LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as clients of varying racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

At the beginning of my career, I worked solely with teens (ages 13-17) struggling with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harm, eating disorders, PTSD, trauma, substance use, and psychosis. During my masters program, I started working solely with adults and now take clients ages 13 and up.

I’ve obtained training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Crisis intervention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and have taken many trainings in providing trauma-informed care.

I’m dedicated to providing a compassionate, non-judgmental space where my clients feel safe to engage in therapeutic work to help them reach their goals. I am a true believer that everyone should have access to quality mental health care and would be honored to work with you if you feel we’d be a good fit.

Thanks for reading and best of luck on your therapist search!
