CHRISTINA OJEDA, LMFT
THERAPIST | LMFT #103522
Hi, I'm Christina!
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who is wholeheartedly invested in supporting clients on their journey towards self-actualization. I know that reaching out for support and finding the right therapist can be difficult and overwhelming. With that understanding, I am dedicated to creating a safe and soft landing spot for your healing and growth. I value the therapeutic relationship and am so humbled and honored by the opportunity to connect with you and be a part of your journey.
As humans we have an innate need for connection, to be understood, heard, and seen. I practice from a person centered approach in which I acknowledges that nobody knows yourself better than you. With gentle and supportive guidance we will collaborate in your self-exploration and meeting your goals. My hope is to hold space for you to be able to show up fully in all your humanness.
I received her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Psychological Trauma Studies from Antioch University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield.
I have worked for various community mental health settings, specifically with children, adolescents, and their families. I also have years of experience providing psychotherapy for folks in various levels of eating disorder care (inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP) I have also served as Director for a virtual Eating Disorder outpatient program where I provided clinical support and supervision to a team of clinicians. I combine compassion, knowledge, personal experiences, and professional experience to all the services I provide.
