EDA OZSOY, AMFT
THERAPIST | AMFT #160124
Hi! I’m Eda,
Welcome to Abundance Therapy! I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with experience supporting individuals from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, including first-generation immigrants navigating identity, belonging, and life transitions.
I use an integrative approach that brings attention to what is emerging in the here and now while also exploring repetitive patterns that shape one's internal and relational world. I work with trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, ADHD, grief and the long-term impact of childhood abuse and neglect.
I use a psychodynamic approach to explore how early childhood experiences shape one's inner world and present day emotional landscape. I integrate family systems thinking to understand relational roles and intergenerational patterns, and I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to bring awareness to thought patterns.
I earned my bachelor's degree in political science in Istanbul, Turkey, and completed my master's in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles. I provide sessions in English and Turkish.
I am looking forward to working with you.
