Hello! I’m Kameron.
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker who has worked in Intensive Inpatient, Outpatient and Enhanced Residential Service facilities. In these settings, I have spent my time serving adults who were living in transitional housing shelters and have been struggling with anger management, anxiety, stress, grief, and PTSD through assault or sexual abuse. I have also worked with individuals who have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, and varying Personality Disorders. I am highly passionate and privileged to be able to provide my therapeutic services to individuals who are looking to start or continue with their therapeutic journey.
My approach varies based on the individual's needs, so that I can ensure I meet them where they are currently at. I plan to gain a firm understanding of your presenting problems so that we can address them together and create meaningful goals that will progress during our time together. Depending on the situation, I will utilize therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-based therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy to name a few. Through these approaches, we will challenge those negative thoughts and focus on developing positive thinking, while integrating efficient coping skills to respond to anything that may trigger you.
