KYLE LINEBERRY, ASW
THERAPIST | ASW #113674
Hello, My Name is Kyle
“Some days, doing ‘The Best We Can’ may still fall short of what we would like to be able to do, but life isn’t perfect on any front…and doing what we can with what we have is the most we should expect of ourselves or anyone else.” -Mr. Rogers
Welcome, welcome! It’s great to see you! I am an associate clinical social worker, and I am excited to help you find the comfort and strength within yourself to go on an incredible quest for growth and accomplishment. I have worked with a variety of populations as both a therapist and former fine arts schoolteacher, and I bring a wealth of skills to the table that can be of assistance to you in a safe, judgement-free zone. Life can be difficult, whether you’re working on trauma or wanting to work on goals to improve yourself in general. With a therapist, you won’t have to face it alone.
Having been on the other side of the therapist’s table, I know how confusing and painful this can be. I also know what it means to need a second chance and am lucky to have been given the opportunity to grow into a healthier person through this very same process. You took a big step by simply being here and learning more about how therapy can help you out, and that’s impressive.
People come in all shapes and sizes, and so should therapy. My style lies with the humanistic and client-centered approaches, and I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic and Solution-Focused Therapy, among others. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education from Georgia colleges, and earned a second master’s degree in clinical social work from Aurora University in Illinois.
Prior to working at ATC, I provided therapy to foster youth, biological and resource parents/families, and adolescents in probation.
Outside of being a therapist, you can find me hiking every mountain range I can find! I also perform music professionally and enjoy spending time traveling and discovering new places/things with my husband and in-laws.
You’re already here, so stay awhile and let’s take this journey together! The new YOU is waiting…
