Hi! I'm Natacha,
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in private practice and community mental health. I earned my master's degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University and am currently pursuing a PhD in General Psychology. My experience has allowed me to work with individuals at various stages of life, recognizing that each person brings their own experiences, strengths, and concerns to the therapeutic process.
I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. I believe that feeling supported in the therapeutic space is an important part of the process. Therapy can provide an opportunity to explore experiences, increase awareness of our thoughts and emotions, and consider how they may influence patterns in our lives. I aim to create a space where individuals feel comfortable discussing their experiences and exploring the areas they would like to address.
My style is collaborative and person-centered. I believe each person is unique, and getting to know each individual and their experiences is an important part of the therapeutic process. I focus on understanding what brings someone to therapy, what is important to them, and the goals they would like to work toward. I believe the therapeutic process should be based on the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic approaches based on each individual's needs and goals, while recognizing the strengths they bring to the therapeutic process. I believe the therapeutic relationship is an important part of this process and hope to support greater awareness and healing as individuals move through their own therapeutic journey.
