Hi I'm Pauline,
I am a bilingual Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist experienced with diverse populations in a variety of settings. The therapeutic environment I create is in efforts to develop a working relationship with the individual client. In the therapeutic space, we take a look at how life experiences have shaped the client and how they may impact issues they may now be experiencing.
I approach the therapeutic process from an eclectic approach depending on the client's needs, though the therapeutic process is most often informed by Trauma-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Attachment-based Therapy. In taking a holistic approach to address a client's issues, I incorporate mindfulness, grounding and somatic-based strategies to address the mind, body, and soul/spiritual connection. I make an effort to meet my client where they're at while also challenging them as the work done outside of the therapeutic space matters just as much as the work done inside of the therapeutic space.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and couples facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, familial issues/discord, relational problems and life transitions. My approach is culturally sensitive and receptive to the client.
