Hello I'm Phillip,
As an Associate Therapist, I am honored to work with adults who are trying to make sense of pain, pressure, loss, and the quiet exhaustion that can come from carrying too much for too long. My clinical experience includes supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, chronic stress, and major life transitions, as well as those living with more severe and persistent mental health concerns, including psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and personality-related challenges. I do not take lightly what it means for someone to let another person into the interior of their life. That kind of trust matters to me.
I believe therapy should be more than symptom management. It should be a space where people can tell the truth about what has happened to them, what has shaped them, and what it has cost them to survive. So much of emotional suffering lives beneath the surface: in patterns that once kept us safe, in grief that was never fully witnessed, in pain that learned how to disguise itself as anger, numbness, perfectionism, or disconnection. I see my role as helping clients slow that process down, understand it more clearly, and begin moving toward healing with greater self-awareness, intention, and compassion.
Depending on your needs and goals, I may draw from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, and strength-based approaches. Together, we can work to better understand your internal world, challenge unhelpful patterns, build practical coping tools, and create healthier ways of responding to the weight of life. I strive to offer a space that is steady, thoughtful, and human-where you do not have to perform, minimize, or carry everything alone.
