Hi, I'm Justina.

I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I believe every client has a story to tell and I am passionate about helping people tell their stories and stand in their truths. Standing in your truth and accepting your story can be very painful growing process. I am here to support you in finding yourself by growing through your struggles and pain.

My counseling style is client-centered and integrative. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), art therapy, cinematherapy, and strengths-based approaches. I specialize in working with the military veteran community and clients who identify with experiencing substance use and addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress related to work/academics.

I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. In my spare time I like to work on special projects that support the military community, volunteer for different organizations that serve military veterans and their families, and bake for others.

Justina is supervised by David Mossaband, LMFT.
