I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience working with individuals, couples and families, in a variety of clinical settings including the film and television industry, Hollywood community mental health, the LA LBGTQ Center, and Braille Institute. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, trauma, depression, anger, family and work relational issues, disabilities, as well as, grief and loss.  I work with older teens and adults of all ages and many cultures.

My counseling style is warm and thoughtful. I appreciate the human spirit and believe everyone deserves to be heard with respect, sensitivity and kindness. We will work together so that you feel empowered and supported to face the challenges life presents in 2021.

My approach combines client centered, trauma focused (EMDR trained), mindfulness and somatic based therapies, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I adjust these modalities to make sure they encompass your specific and unique needs. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University Los Angeles. I spent many years living in France and teaching at the university level. In my spare time I enjoy my family, volunteer, and am an avid movie goer.
